Emirates is extending CUSS check-in
Emirates Airline installed another 13 check-in kiosks at Dubai Airport, terminal 1. All in all, Emirates Airlines now operates 23 kiosks. Meanwhile, the check-in application has also been integrated onto IERīs CUSS platform, tested and thus, made ready for London Heathrow.
For the new terminal 3, in Dubai, Emirates will extend its kiosk platform with further 60 machines. As special highlight, more than a third of the kiosks will be provided with automated baggage check-in. This feature, for the first time implemented for Vienna Airport, has been accepted by IATA as a CUSS standard feature for the next version.
The completion of the new terminal and the begin of the live operation of our installation is expected for the middle of 2007.
